AOpen has introduced the desktop version of the newly launchedSonoma platform with their latest i915GMm-HFS board that supports 533/400MhzDothan processors. It is based on the 915GM Express chipset (Alviso) that comeswith integrated GMA900 graphics. Interestingly, this board comes with both DDRand DDR2 memory slots in dual channel configuration. This board also offersadditional PCI Express x16 slot for more powerful graphics add-on. It comes withICH6M Southbridge with four SATA2 ports, one ATA100 IDE channel and alsoFirewire capability.
The back panel multi-IO is especially unique as it comes withDVI-I, (Y/Pb/Pr), the D Sub which indicated that this board is made for DigitalHome concept in mind.
